Notes from King Chiikawa
Whale sharks (ジンベエザメ) are closely associated with Okinawa thanks in large part to the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, which is famous for its enormous Kuroshio Sea tank and whale sharks. The world's largest living fish, whale sharks inhabit the warm waters around Okinawa and have become one of the region's most recognizable marine symbols.
